Performing Your Fluoride Treatment
We usually apply fluoride treatment at the end of your dental cleaning. After choosing your flavor, we prepare the treatment in a gel, foam, or paint-on varnish form. The treatment will remain on your teeth for several minutes to allow the fluoride to sink into your enamel properly. To remove the fluoride from your teeth, we will provide suction instead of a water rinse. We ask that you not eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for half an hour following treatment.
